Footbridge and ferry over the Pelly River, Ross River, Yukon

The ferry at Ross River has just brought us to the eastern shore of the Pelly River and before we continue our trip on the North Canol Road, Anne ventures out on the footbridge built in 1943 as part of the Canol pipeline system. The pipeline was dismantled just 6 years later, but the road opened up access to a remote, beautiful area that stretches 300km to the NWT border.
